Our custom quote form may collect your address and event details so we can confirm availability, calculate travel charges, and provide an accurate quote for locations outside our standard service area.

 

2. Waiver and Participant Information

Because our mobile gaming events may involve children and teenagers, a parent or legal guardian may be required to complete a waiver.

 

The waiver may collect:

  • Participant’s full name and date of birth

  • Date of the event

  • Parent or guardian’s full name

  • Email address and telephone number

  • Electronic signature and signing date

  • Emergency medical authorization

  • Acceptance of participation risks

  • Photo and video preference

We only request information reasonably necessary to document consent, support participant safety, and manage the event.

We do not knowingly sell children’s information or use it for behavioural advertising.

Arcade Shark may take photographs or videos during an event only when appropriate permission has been provided. For participants under the age of majority, permission must come from a parent or legal guardian.

 

Approved photos or videos may be used on our website, social media pages, advertisements, or other promotional materials. Refusing photo or video permission will not prevent someone from participating in an event.

 

You may contact us to withdraw permission for future use. Withdrawal may not affect material already lawfully published, but we will consider reasonable removal requests.

 

6. Marketing Communications

We may send promotional emails only when you have provided consent or when otherwise permitted under Canadian law.

You can withdraw your marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email or contacting us directly. You may still receive essential messages concerning an inquiry, booking, payment, waiver, or scheduled event.

Arcade Shark does not sell or rent customer contact details or marketing lists.

 

7. Payments

Payments might be handled via a secure third-party payment provider, so Arcade Shark won’t really see everything, but it may get transaction details like the amount paid, payment status, transaction date, and limited billing info.  

 

Full credit or debit card details are typically gathered and processed directly by the payment provider instead of being stored by Arcade Shark. Payment providers deal with the information under their own privacy policies and security practices, which means their approach might differ a bit from ours.

 

8. Cookies and Website Information

When you come to our website, some technical information can be collected automatically, like your IP address, browser type, device kind, operating system, rough location, pages you visited, what brought you there , and how you interact with the site.
